  6. USING THE SYMPTOM CHART
  7.  
  8. Find the symptom that best describes how the defective monitor
  9. appears and then try the recommended actions in the order listed.
  10. If the first corrective action does not solve the problem, put back
  11. the original module or part before trying the next action.

  15. Power is On,                   1. Make sure that the power cord is
  16. LED is Off                        plugged into a live power outlet.
  17.                                2. Replace the LED assembly.
  18.                                3. Replace the AC cord assembly.
  19.                                4. Replace the main logic board.
  20.                                5. Replace the CRT video board.
  21.                                6. Replace the ON/OFF Switch.
  22.                                7. Replace the CRT.

  24.  
  25. Power is On, LED               1. Make sure that the computer
  26. is on, but raster                 connection is secure.
  27. is not displayed               2. Adjust the external BRIGHTNESS
  28.                                   control on the front panel.
  29.                                3. Adjust the Contrast Control.
  30.                                4. Check fuse F901 on the main logic
  31.                                   board.  Replace if blown.
  32.                                5. Check that all connectors are secure
